HOMELESS ANIMALS RELIEF PROJECT
662-292-0922
Our mission is to reduce cat suffering and overpopulation by offering free or very low-cost birth control surgery (spay or neuter) to cats and kittens living with low income folks and the poor in north Mississippi, and to feral (wild) cats.
If you are low-income or caring for feral cats, call to see if you qualify for this free or very low-cost care for your cat.

Above: Cats recovering from surgery. Spay/neuter surgery is the sustainable, proactive intervention to prevent litters of kittens for whom there will be no homes.

Help us help more animals by purchasing our new book on animal welfare, $5 For a Cat Head. With a focus on spaying and neutering, the book was released in 2020. Buying a paper copy directly from HARP yields the highest profit to the cats, but the book is available as paperback or ebook from Amazon, B&N, and booksellers nationwide.
To buy direct, mail a check for $25 (postage is included) to HARP, POB 371, Senatobia MS 38668 for your copy.
100% of profits from the sale of the book go to fund spay/neuter surgery for less fortunate cats. None of your money goes for administrative costs, fundraising, or advertising—we've got that covered.
In full color and nearly 200 pages, the book is packed with tales of hope and tips on how you can reduce animal suffering.
In $5 For a Cat Head, you will:
Read true stories of dogs and cats encountered in 23 years of animal welfare work.
