Our tiny army of volunteers will be on break March 1 to March 10 to prepare for the upcoming busy season. Contact us again on March 11, or you can leave a message, send an email, or fill out the contact form, but do not expect a response until March 11.
A volunteer will monitor the voicemail 662-292-0922 for feline emergency calls only. A feline emergency is an injured or seriously ill cat in danger of losing life or limb. Other calls will be returned March 11.
When you call we'll ask questions about your location, financial circumstances, transportation ability, the number of cats and other pets that you have, and their health. We generally can accept a photo texted of your proof of income. We usually qualify you right then on that initial call; sometimes we'll have to suggest another service that may be able to help you.
Next we'll schedule your cat(s) appointment for the surgery with one of our vets. We do not operate a vet clinic so the surgeries are performed at participating veterinary clinics. You may be asked to sign a consent for the surgery. You will receive directions, dates, and times for drop off and pick up. See our Spay Neuter page for more details about your cat's surgery.
If you are not sure you qualify, or you are unable to pay anything, PLEASE CALL us anyway and let us see what we can work out for you and the cats!
We want to help.
